Game keeps freezing up on me....

I purchased this game last night on my iPhone 3GS OS 4.1 and it worked fine for a while. I would load the game and as soon as the main menu appeared, the whole thing froze. Now, as the loading status bar appears, it freezes. I have turned my phone on and off numerous times and still the same thing happens. Like I said, I purchased this app last night and it is version 1.5.3 and paid $1.99 for it.
What gives???

As mentioned in a couple of other threads, an annoying bug snuck into the 1.5.3 update that causes the game to lock up after loading if you've started a Fish Race game that has the new 'Buckles' named fish in it.
An update that fixes this bug is going through Apple approval at the moment, but in the meantime the temporary solution (if you don't mind losing your game data so far) is to delete and re-install the game and avoid the Fish Race game option until it's been updated.
If you've already caught lots of great fish and really don't want to lose them by deleting/re-installing, as soon as the 1.5.4 update is applied it will repair the damaged data so the game can load and run normally. Unfortunately Apple approval times are somewhat random, so we have no idea when the update will go live.
One bit of good news with the 1.5.3 version (and upwards) is that we've made the two current In App Purchase packs, The Private Beach and The Fishing Pro Pack, free for all players.
