Lineform contains DRM (Digital Rights Management) similar to many other software products on the market. This DRM requires an internet connection, and will attempt to contact our server at the point in Lineform's registration where you enter your serial number.

The only information transmitted to us is the following: the name and email address that you are using to register Lineform, and an encrypted string that links this information to your computer. No other information is transmitted to us whatsoever.

Once registration is complete, we store this information for your, the customer's, records. For example, if you should lose your serial number, you can press the 'Lost code' button in Lineform's registration window to automatically retrieve your serial number.

Your registration information is also stored in a file on your computer, in the same fashion as other software products. Lineform will refer to this file to ensure it is properly registered.
