why does HOMM 5 keep quitting when try to load a saved campaign?

Heroes of Might and Magic 5 version 1.5.1 can't reopen any saved campaigns even autosaved ones after crashing. When try to load any campaign or autosaved ones again, it just quits to desktop without responding and all the campaigns are lost and the only way to start it again from campaign one.
Is there any way I can solve this?

I had this same problem, i ended up just playing the campaign over again, but now i can't even open the campaign section, it just crashes, and it crashes when i finish the current one i am on. i have put in a support ticket and have had no reply
