There is a workaround using the Transform Inspector:

- Make a shape as big as the page

- Align Center your object with that proxy object

- Place the appropriate corner it at x/y zero

You can either select or group objects you want or don't want to be aligned. I usually work inside a group, if the outer limits (here the page) are repeatedly important to my ends.
