I'll check. It may be taking a while to update or the Plus+ server hasn't been updated for it yet. Once they guys are back in the office tomorrow I'll be able to check with them.

How do you catch buckles

Just fish the way you would to catch normal sailfish , cast about full length using squid and he will appear eventually. I think I got him in 10 mins. To save catching lots of sailfish I use the weight gauge gizmo so you know when it's buckles. I just snap the line with the rest to save time.

Blue deeps, use squid , cast full then reel back somewhere between 210-200 ft. Use weight gauge to determine him from other sailfish. He will bite eventually prob no more than 30 casts at the correct length. I've caught him several times now and always in extreme mode and I had completed all tasks and trophies in game first . And he's quite easy to land not like carpo marx and smiling indigo

you can also find Buckles in Bluer Deeper. Have caught him there quite a few times between 200 & 224 feet. You could probably catch him longer, but I try to throw that distance. I second the use of the weight gauge gizmo for Buckles. It's also really good for Big Red.

I tried fishing for buckles and usually land him around 5-10min on blue deep 186-210ft. However, on blue deeper, he appear more frequently. I don't know if this is pure luck or not but i did the 3min big fish tourney on blue deeper and caught 4 buckles at 230-238ft back to back. I tested it again on 3min and caught 2 more....under 3mins? I guess since buckles is the only fish that appear in 2 lakes and since blue deeper doesn't have a tourney rank (in photo album), that might interfere with your luck. Try that and see if it helps. I didn't bother throwing coins.

When catching buckles will it be obvious that it is him from other sailfish? When I use Weight Gauge for Dread Bob, Hank Marlin and Smiling Inigo the weight gauge goes a ridiculous amount past where a normal swordfish etc is supposed to be. Will buckles be like that?

no, his picture looks the same. I know Buckles *may* be on the line when it goes out to the 300 ft mark. I don't know it's not a swordie at that point though. You'll only know it's not a swordie or blueie if you see it jump if you're a bit slow winding it in once you get inside the 210ft mark (named fish don't jump). Otherwise, you won't know until you land him. I usually don't bother winding them in if it's not Buckles.

I have finally caught Buckles in Flick Fishing. I've been searching all over and it is one of the pictures that I have not seen posted yet, so I thought I would. I have to admit, this was one of the toughest for me to get for some reason. Looks like it was the same for a lot of others. The other tough one for me was Wiggler and Tiddles. I guess I just lucked out on the rest. What I used for Buckles was the Hookmaster rod with the Super Line (thanks for the tip by 'Donnaz1971'). I casted max and reeled in to 221 ft. in Blue Deeper using squid. I will tell you that for me, it took a lot of casts before I finally landed Buckles. I know it was not the same for others. But hey, I thought I would at least offer this information. Love the game of Flick Fishing and I hope there is an update and/or more additions of different fish, named fish, gizmos, and other locations!

Jack Tyler Fahrnow is correct on Dread Bob. I caught him on Shipwreck Shores at max cast of 180 ft. using bait fish. I got him on my 4th cast, so as my earlier post stated, I totally lucked out. I have attached a picture as well (also, another picture that I have not seen posted as well). I hope this helps.
