I was playing flick fishing free and trying to take a screen shot when my iPod restarted. When I went back into Flick Fishing Free it was like starting brand new, lost all the fish, collections, add-ons and doubloons that I had collected since I originally started. Can I restore my app data?
Note I tried to delete the app from iPod and resintall via synch in iTunes. I am using iMac with OS 10.5.8; iPod Touch 3rd Gen OS 4.0.2

Unfortunately no. If you delete your app, it scrubs the user data too. Odd that you'd lose your user data just from and iPod restart though (actually, odd that the iPod restarted, unless in trying to screen shot you managed to implement to force reset). Normally if the app quits you'll have data saved from some point (it saves whenever you earn or spend doubloons for instance) so losing data entirely is very unusual without uninstalling the app.
There is a way to recover your fish scores if you've been playing while logged in to Plus+. Make sure you're logged in to your Plus+ account and go to the photo album. You'll notice the set of 7 rivets in the panel at the bottom. Tap them in the sequence 7 - 1 - 3 - 2 - 5 (counting from the left 1-7) and it'll grab your fish weights from the high scores you posted to the Plus+ leaderboards. It should warn you it's about to do this just before you tap the final rivet.
Thanks for the comment, I haven't used Plus Data so that won't help me (wouldn't help in my lost collections I guess either I was close to getting several different ones). Just bummed I've lost several weeks of playing and collecting items.
BTW; I didn't delete the app until after I tried a couple of times to playing and verified that everything was reset (options, fish, collections, etc). I had thought that from a back-up it might have saved my data along with my app. But apparently it only has the application not data when it synchs with my iMac.
I have Iphone hard reset. Now I am lost database. Fortunately through my stay plus + score stand. But photo album and collections are empty. I tried with 71325. It does not works. Is there a special way to do it. I'm just logged in plus + photo album and went, following sequence in order tapped.
The collections can be restored? I also backup via itunes put back.
it also does not works.
The 71325 sequence can take a few goes on an iPhone as the tap areas are small and easy to miss.
First you have to make sure you're definitely logged in to Plus+ and online before you start the sequence (it can take a little while for the login to actually take place). It's also a good idea to make sure it's a fresh launch of the game, not just returning from the background.
Unfortunately collections can't be restored.

I just replaced my iPod 3rd gen with an iPod 4th gen and tried to restore my catches with 71325 in Flick Fishing Paid. It took me a couple of tries until I got the warning message before the last number. But the data is several months old. It's missing many of my record breakers and named fish altogether. It definitely doesn't match the Plus+ leaderboards. Oh well, I had to do the quest again anyway, so this gives me a chance to catch some of my earlier records breakers again. :)
I have been using Plus+ and played the game. Recently I changed a new Iphone. I logged in to the game and tried the 71325 but seems not work.
Is the code still 71325 ?
If so, I will tried again.
Thanks
It is, although it currently only works reliably on the paid version of Flick Fishing (I've been checking in to the problems people have reported with it not working on Flick Fishing Free and it's something that will be fixed in the next update).
But I am playing the paid version .
ah right. In which case it should work, as long as you are logged in to Plus+. The buttons for it can be a bit picky (they're intended as a hidden easter egg rather than 'normal' functionality) so one trick is to make sure the game has fully restarted by quitting and closing it on the task bar before restarting, so you get the full title screen and loading sequence before trying the code again.
