This is a great game but after a few solid days of trying I am stuck on 2 missions.

1. In "A Trail of Clues", I am trying to find the mysterious stranger and it says "find the small planet one warpgate jump away from a pirate station". I have looked everywhere so any advice would be great.
2. In "Super Top Secret Pirate Meeting", I simply cannot work out how to access the Near Death Star system. I have desroyed the prototype ship but thats it - the trail as gone cold so to speak. Any advice.
I cant work out how to take the game forward anymore so please give me some advice.
I know people say that you need to take pirate missions but the only pirate system I can access is Aquila Major and I have done quite a few missions now.

In my experience nothing prevented me from forward progress in the game, so do not think there are any bugs. You'll just need to fly around to lots of systems, land on lots of planets, and one of the missions should trigger.
When I got in trouble I googled for warpgate. There was an old discussion board that Freeverse had which contained lots of questions and answers, but that board has been taken down and replaced with this one. Still, you can read those old posts using google's cache feature. Gamefaq I think has some posts too. Otherwise, post your questions here someone will probably respond!

I have trouble finding the planet one warp jump away from a pirate system. Can someone tell me what planet this is?
