I have caught every fish in the game for the exception of GEORGE and WIGGLER. I have read up on locations, bait and distances but have yet to even hook into one of them. Maybe I am doing something wrong? Any advice? George (named trout): River / Spinner / full cast (so I've read) Problems: i have full cast every time (90 ft.) and have tried reeling fast, slow, SUPER slow, etc. But have yet to hook George. It seems i get more trout in general when reeling past middle than far, but people say far cast? any thoughts? I have casted over 300-400 times in a row with no losses of big fish, and no George. Wiggler (named roach): Lake Shiny / Luncheon Meat / 68.5 ish (so I've read) Problems: I read that the named fish stick to their main listed bait, (for the exception of named bream as mega guide notes). The roach likes maggots then worms. Neither is available in Lake Shiny, and the luncheon meat others said they used at 68.5 reels in hundreds of bream with no Roaches. Once in a great while ill get a roach at 70-75. I also read it may take 80 casts. I went to over 500 with no luck of even hooking it, I lost no fish during that run. Any advice? Maybe supposed to be night instead of day? Most of my tries are during the day map.

Sorry my comment turned out to be a massive paragraph. I spaced everything out so it was easy to read but when posting, it crammed it all together.

I've caught George many times, more than most probably. Although I've experimented a deal, the only times I have caught George has been with a full cast - 85 to 90 feet on a spinner. Got him again last night just that way. Keep trying!
Wiggler is the named fish I've hooked least frequently. He doesn't bite often. He is only caught with Luncheon Meat at Lake Shiny. Prior to version 1.5, I'd only ever caught Wiggler with the full cast, while looking for big carp. The last five times I've caught Wiggler I've cast to 75, 75, 82, 65 and 59 feet. In the old forum, at least two people said they'd caught Wiggler from a 'short' cast. So you can catch him at all distances I'd say - which is quite different from the rest of the Named Fish, in my experience.
Good luck!

It's a bit of skill and a bit of luck as the named fish bite rarely. Wiggler and George are 'secondary' named fish, so have their own odd tastes.
Your bait and location should be good (Wiggler, Lake Shiny + Luncheon Meat, George, Riverside + Spinner. Cast as far as you can and ideally have the golden lure and the tasty bait gizmo in eXtreme mode.
Generally if you're catching the other named fish there, then there's a chance you'll them in time. All the named fish are rare, so usually it's a matter of time.

Bluer Deeper is like the Blue Deeps, but only has the larger fish, such as Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo and so on, making it a better place to fish for them.

That's the Golden Lure. You win it by completing the Old Guy In the Lighthouse's quest and it automatically boosts your chance of catching bigger fish.

How far do I have to cast in old pond and lake shiny to get tire? Any special bait/gizmo/lure? I've been casting hundreds of times in both places, but no tire at all!

Around 25-27ft is best for any of the collectible items. In any of the fishing spots, casting 10% or so short will slightly increase the chances of hooking collectibles.

Thx, but I thought u said it was 20% short of max casting distance?

It's a zone around 10-20% short of the max distance. It doesn't guarantee you'll catch anything specific, but does increase the chances of hooking a collectible slightly.

When I tried for wiggler I cast out to around 67 feet with blue/white rod, Auto slip gizmo and luncheon meat. I caught it on the first cast, fight like a small carp from night fishing. I've caugh all of the named fish except for George, Smiling Indigo and Tiddles. A little hep with Tiddles and George would help. I cant seem to get either of them :( but Ive hooked on to Smiling Indigo before, quite hard but Auto Slip helps alot.
