Need help with Legion Arena

I'm stuck on 'Ambush @ Cypsela' scenario. I have killed or caused all the enemy to flee within the time limit and kept my losses under the minimum # but the game keeps telling me I have failed the scenario. The only enemy left on the screen at the end are running away from the battlefield but it still says I lost. HELP!!!!

I think this is the scenario where the enemy's leader is waiting on a horse in the field in the back, and you have to slay him within the allotted time, as well as scatter his forces, to win. Look for him in the field behind the forest. Good hunting!
